COVID-19: The Church of England has currently suspended all acts of public worship and therefore no services will take place at St Barnabas until further notice. A virtual service will be livestreamed on 10am on Sunday from our sister church of St Matthew and St James, Mossley Hill, by our Team Rector Alan Kennedy – this can be accessed from Mossley Hill’s Facebook page at this link.
REDEVELOPMENT OF THE CHURCH: Proposals are in place for the improvement of the facilities of the church. As these can no longer be viewed inside the church building, they can be viewed online below:
Thank you for visiting our website and a warm welcome to our church which reached its 100th anniversary in 2014.St Barnabas is part of the Mossley Hill Team Ministry. The other two churches in the Team are St Matthew and St James, and All Hallows.
One of the most famous streets in the Parish, if not in Liverpool, is Penny Lane – we are located right on the corner.
We hold a variety of modern and traditional services, so do come along and visit us – you’ll be made very welcome. A good way to get to know us is to stay for refreshments after the main 10.30 am Sunday service.
If you are just visiting our church, or if you are taking the Beatles trail, please pop in, it will be great to see you.
May God bless you,
Rev. Alan Kennedy (Mossley Hill Team Rector)
